    1.    Miriam and Aaron oppose Moses
    2.   God pronounces judgment for their sin
    3.   God extends His mercy

Where is Jesus?

How does today's Bible story fit into God's greater plan of redemption?

Read Philippians 2:1-11.

Consider the humble response of Moses when Aaron and Miriam came before God in the tent of meeting and complained against him. Moses did not object to what they said about him, and when Miriam was struck with leprosy, Moses interceded with God for her. In the same way, Jesus prayed for those who mocked and crucified him. Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

Family Discipleship - "Time" in the Home

We are on week 39 which starts on page 258 in the Long Story Short devotional. This is a great week to talk about envy and boasting with your family. Pride is so subtle and creeps in which only leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:18). As we see in Jesus, the solution is His humility that only comes by His strength.

Pray about it! Ask God to help you not be envious, to not tear down others, but to build them up and encourage one another.
