Church doesn’t cost anything, and it’s free. If you are visiting our church for a few Sundays, you are our guest. That means that when the donation basket is handed to you, just pass it along to the person sitting next to you. (Back to Top)
Yup! We have great children’s programs up to the 6th grade. By the way, ALL our children’s program teachers and helpers have had state and federal background checks before being allowed to help. (Back to Top)
For students in Middle and High School we recommend that they enjoy the service with the adults.
Part of our desire at The Grove Community Church is to bring people into a closer relationship with God in a non-threatening way. Fancher Creek Elementary is common ground for many of us in the community and it is a safe, beautiful non-threatening place to find out more about God. (Back to Top)
Be authentic, don’t dress special. Wear the kind of clothes you would if you were going over to your friends house. (Back to Top)
No, no, no. We won’t ask you to stand, raise your hand or go to a special room. You will not be asked to sign anything. There will be a welcome card that we hand out to everyone, you can fill that out if you want to receive more info on the church. We appreciate the fact that you came and are curious about the spirituality of Jesus Christ. The last thing we want to do is distract you from that… so the answer is no. (Back to Top)
We believe that music is a powerful way of connecting spiritually with God. He is not a god that is stuck somewhere back on a mountain 29 centuries ago. He is present with us here today and wants us to worship Him in song with all our hearts. The music we sing to Him at The Grove Community Church will vary, but it will mostly be the music of today. We know that some of us connect with God just as powerfully by using our other senses. At times we will involve sight and smell as well as sound. In one corner you will find our art center for those of us who would like to draw or paint during the service. (Back to Top)
